Staff
The Primary Care Center is staffed by John Van Metre, MD and Sharon Field, MSN, ARNP, a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Van Metre received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of North Dakota, St. Luke's Hospital at Fargo. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Sharon Field is a Registered Nurse with advanced education and clinical training in the diagnosis and management of common adult and childhood illnesses. Sharon is nationally-certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses' Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner. She received her undergraduate and graduate education from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
