Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare's Caring Hands Personal Care and Support Services is a state-licensed program offering a variety of levels of service. This program offers you the flexibility, management and respect for your personal care needs in your own home with services provided by clinically-trained specialists.
How MLMH's Caring Hands Personal Care and Support Services can benefit you:
- Care is available 24-hours a day, seven-days-a-week.
- All staff is hired, trained and supervised by MLMH's Caring Hands.
- Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare pays the employee's Social Security and other employer-related taxes.
Services available:
Personal Care Aides
Personal Care Aides are professionally-trained certified nurses aides who provide assistance with bathing, dressing, ambulation, exercise, medication reminders, meal preparation, laundry/housekeeping, errands and transportation to and from appointments, as well as other various activities.
Homemakers
Homemakers specialize in assisting with medication reminders, meal preparation, laundry/housekeeping, errands and transportation to and from appointments, as well as other various activities.
Skilled nursing
Under the direction of a physician, Registered Nurses will assist with medications, set up, injections, IV therapy, catheter care, bowel management and other various services.
Caring Hands will meet your individual needs.
Caring Hands clients can enjoy the flexibility of selecting hours convenient to you and adjusting those hours as necessary. Your needs may require assistance as little as one hour a week, or as much as 24-hours a day. Caring Hands personnel can visit you several times daily for chores such as meal preparation, or to provide assistance rising out of bed in the morning and preparing for bed in the evening. The Caring Hands staff will visit with you to arrange services based upon your individual needs.
Convenient hours.
Caring Hands provides services 24-hours a day, seven-days-a-week including holidays. Supervisors are also available 24-hours a day, seven- days-a-week.
Caring Hands offers services to residents within a 25-mile radius of Hastings, including Webster and Kearney Counties.
Reimbursement.
Services are primarily paid for by the client, however some insurance plans allow for coverage, as well as Medicaid Waiver Programs and Veteran's Benefits. Please call for information on services and charges.
Gift certificates.
Gift certificates are available to purchase services for friends, family or loved ones. These are available in any denomination. Please call the number listed above for more information.
