Shift Information: Hours per week? Days per week? Hours per day?	36 hours per week. Varies 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Education Required:	Graduate of nursing from an accredited college, university or approved school of nursing required. Maintains competencies required for profession or position.
License(s) Required:	Current registered nursing (RN) license or temporary permit from the State of Nebraska.
Experience:	Experience preferred
Duties of this job:	Will appropriately triage patients entering the Emergency Department, performing primary assessment and establishing priorities for the plan of care. Will take appropriate nursing action in emergency situations, thoroughly and legibly documenting aftercare information. Will demonstrate awareness of current state and local laws governing the delivery of care to the emergency patient and demonstrate knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifying arrhythmia's and implementing appropriate nursing care. Will demonstrate knowledge of nursing concepts and management of multi-systems trauma as well as processing of care for the acutely ill or injured pediatric poplulation.
