Position Name:	Registered Nurse
Department:	Family Care Center (OB/ Maternal Child)
Full or Part Time:	Full Time
Shift Information: Hours per week? Days per week? Hours per day?	36 hours per week. Varies 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. or as needed
Education Required:	Graduate of nursing from an accredited college, university or approved school of nursing required. Maintains competencies required for profession or position.
License(s) Required:	Current registered nursing (RN) license or temporary permit from the State of Nebraska.
Experience:	Prefer experience in labor and delivery, but will consider experience in other areas
Duties of this job:	Works under general supervision and is accountable for own nursing practice while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care required to meet the holistic needs of the patient. Applies the principles of growth and development to the care of patients of all ages. Duties include caring for patients in labor and delviery, post-partum, couplet care, GYN, and eye patients.
