Education/Degree Required?

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in occupational therapy from an accredited four-year college or university is required.  Maintains competencies required for profession and position.

License(s) Required?

Current occupational therapy license from the State of Nebraska.  NBCOT certification or be eligible.  CPR certification.

Experience?

Prefer 6 months experience

Briefly describe the duties of this job.

Will involve work in most areas in the continuum of care, including acute, sub acute, home health, nursing home, and possibly some out patient.

Will provide the assessment and appropriate treatment for the development and rehabilitation of the mentally, emotionally and physically impaired patient based upon the medical diagnosis and the orders given by the physician that are consistent with the accepted occupational therapy standards of practice.  Will apply the principles of growth and development to the care of adult and geriatric age patients and, on occasion, adolescent/pediatric patients.
