Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital is proud to serve as a Clinical Site for healthcare students from more than 20 colleges and universities throughout the Midwest.  Future healthcare professionals gain experience in a variety of clinical areas including nursing, physical therapy, psychology, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and emergency care.

CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF NURSING PROGRAM - MARY LANNING CAMPUS

In 1986, Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital entered into a formal agreement with Creighton University School of Nursing, Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of providing baccalaureate level nursing education. At the same time, an agreement was entered into with Hastings College for the purpose of providing for the liberal arts, humanities, and science courses required for completion of the baccalaureate degree.

Creighton University School of Nursing - Mary Lanning Campus is a four-year program taught on the Hastings Mary Lanning Campus. Upon successful completion of this program, the student is awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) from Creighton University, and is then ready to take the licensure exam to become a registered nurse (RN).

SCHOOL OF RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY

Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology is a hospital-based program established to provide well-qualified radiographers. Upon successful completion of the 24-month program, the graduate is awarded a Certificate of Graduation and is eligible to apply for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT) certification examination. The Radiologic Technology Program is approved for sixty (60) credit hours toward a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiography from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and sixty (60) credit hours toward an Associate of Science Degree in Radiography from Central Community College in Hastings.
